Executive Secretary of the Muslim International Forum Damir Mukhetdinov visited the capital of Azerbaijan, Baku. On April 25, he made a presentation of his monograph “The History of Islam in Russia” at the Institute of Theology of Azerbaijan.

The presentation was attended by representatives of the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan, deputies of the Parliament of the Republic, rectors of leading universities, academicians, professors and representatives of state channels.

The following prominent figures in Azerbaijan delivered introductory words to the presentation: rector of the Azerbaijan Institute of Theology Jeyhun Mamedov, executive director of the Baku International Center for Multiculturalism Ravan Hasanov, deputy chairman of the Office of Muslims of the Caucasus Hadji Fuad Nurullayev, head of the Russian community of Azerbaijan Mikhail Zabelin, director of the Institute of Philosophy of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, professor Ilham Mamedzade, head of the department of Azerbaijan literature of the National Sciences.
