Today, on 8th of December, the Chief of Staff - Deputy Chairman of the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation (RBM RF), Ildar Nurimanov, held a meeting with the Executive Director for International Affairs of the Mustafa Science and Technology Foundation, Mr. Mahdi Amini.

The purpose of the meeting was to identify the cooperation parameters between the two organizations. The Mustafa Science and Technology Foundation, as an organization, strives to promote education and research and is called upon to play a leading role in the development of regional relations between scientific and technical institutions of all Muslim countries of the world. In this regard, the foreign side was interested in information about scientists from Russia who work in three relevant spheres today. These are biotechnologies, IT technologies and nano-technologies, and about achievements in these areas, in order to later present researchers to receive the Mustafa Foundation Award.

Mustafa Foundation Award - award in the sphere of science and technology, awarded to leading researchers and scientists of the Islamic world. It is awarded every two years during Islamic Unity Week in Iran

Ildar Nurimanov informed foreign partners that there are a significant number of Muslim scientists working in all these areas of science in the Russian Federation.

At the end of the meeting, the sides exchanged memorable gifts and agreed to expand cooperation.
