Meeting with the newly appointed Director of the Representative Office of Al-Mustafa International University in Moscow
On 16th of December, the Executive Secretary of the Muslim International Forum, First Deputy Chairman of the Religious Board ofMuslims (RBM RF) of the Russian Federation, Rector of the Institute, Doctor of theology, Professor Damir Mukhetdinov met with the newly appointed Director of the representative office of Al-Mustafa International University in Moscow, member of the Academic Council of Al-Mustafa International University, lawyer and philosopher Dr. Rasul Abdollahi.
Damir Mukhetdinov greeted the guest of honor on behalf of the General Secretary of the Muslim international Forum, Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin and congratulated him on his appointment to such a responsible position.
During the meeting, Dr. Rasul Abdollahi spoke about the work of Al-Mustafa International University and stressed that about 80,000 students from all over the world study there in more than a hundred directions.
During the conversation, the sides discussed areas of further cooperation. In particular, publishing activities and in the sphere of exchange of experience between the professors of the MII and the International University of Al-Mustafa.
The Doctor of Theology reminded the Iranian side about the productive cooperation with Mr. Abdollahi's predecessors, namely Hamid Reza Solki.
Also, the Executive Secretary of the MIF told the representatives of the University about the events dedicated to the 1100th anniversary of the official adoption of Islam by the peoples of Volga Bulgaria, which will be held in 2022, and invited them to take part in them directly.
At the end of the meeting, which was held in a friendly and constructive atmosphere, the sides exchanged memorable gifts and outlined plans for further deepening of contacts.
