The Moscow Islamic Institute of the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation has received a license to implement master's degree programs in the field of "Theology" (according to the order of the Federal Service for Supervision of Education and Science of 14.05.2021). Thus, from now on, the university implements bachelor's (48.03.01) and master's (48.04.01) educational programs in Islamic theology, as well as programs of additional education for children and adults and additional professional education.

The theology programs implemented at the MII meet the federal state educational standards for theology of the latest generation – 3 ++.

"This is a new stage in the development of our university, which previously trained bachelors of Islamic theology. We continue to implement additional professional education programs. This is the key to our successful future – to celebrate historical and memorable dates with achievements and achievements in the field of science and education, " said the rector of the Moscow Institute of Islamic Studies, First Deputy Chairman of the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation, Executive Secretary of the Muslim International Forum, the first Doctor of Islamic Theology in Russia, Professor Damir Mukhetdinov.

According to the first vice-rector of the Moscow Islamic Institute, Timur Fakhretdinov, in the 2021/2022 academic year, for the first time in the history of the university, both bachelor's and master's degrees will be enrolled
