The First Moscow Interfaith Youth Forum will be held in the Moscow Cathedral Mosque
On 7th of April, 2021, the First Moscow Interreligious Youth Forum will be held in the conference hall of the Moscow Cathedral Mosque in Moscow on the theme "Consent of Different People: on the Way to Interreligious and Intergenerational cooperation".
This forum, organized by the Muslim International Forum in cooperation with the Medinah Media Holding, will become a platform for productive dialogue and exchange of experience of Russian young religious figures and researchers whose research interests include issues of religion, the organization of youth work, the implementation of youth policy and the understanding of interreligious relations in the multicultural area of Russia, and will also be aimed at the development of meaningful intergenerational interaction in the field of religion.
Heads and representatives of specialized departments for youth affairs of state and religious organizations, students of religious and secular educational institutions specializing in religious studies, as well as activists of public youth associations are invited to participate in the forum.
The main themes of the Forum:
- dialogue of religions in Russia: the view of young specialists;
- interreligious communication among young people: problems and prospects of development;
- youth policy of religious organizations: main directions and priorities of implementation;
- infrastructure of youth policy of religious organizations;
- religious leadership among young people: forms of manifestation in Russian society;
The First Moscow Interreligious Youth Forum will start on 7th of April, 2021 at 10.00 in the conference hall of the Moscow Cathedral Mosque (Vypolzov Lane, 7).
Applications for participation are accepted until 5th of April, at the e-mail address I.Davletshin@dumrf.ru. In the application, you must specify: full name, position, academic degree or title, title of the speech and contact details.
Press accreditation for the forum coverage is held until 15.00 on April 6. In the application, you must specify the name of the media, the full name of the correspondent/members of the film crew, and the list of overall equipment (laptops, cameras, tripods, lights). Applications are accepted by e-mail: dumrf.ru@gmail.com.
