Recently, the next issue of the magazine "Minaret of Islam" was published, dedicated to the 1150th anniversary of Abu Nasr ibn Muhammad al-Farabi-the father of classical Muslim philosophy, the famous "Second Teacher" of the Eastern Middle Ages.

The issue in Russian, Arabic and English is dedicated to the role of the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in the lives of Muslims past and present. It includes reports from participants of the XIII International Scientific and Practical Conference "Galimjan Baroudi Readings" on the topic "The Problem of Interpretation of the Sunnah: a variety of approaches in Islamic Theology", held on 24th of September, 2020 in the Moscow Cathedral Mosque, as well as research materials on the work of Abu Nasr al-Farabi.

Soon the new edition will be available on the online platform of the Publishing House "Medina" - www.idmedina.ru.

The Minaret of Islam has been published by the Medina Publishing House since 2004. In 2015, for the first time, it began to be published in various languages, the most common in the Islamic world, and also acquired the status of the official press organ of the Muslim International Forum, the constitution of which was decided in December 2014.
