12 thousand new green carpets were laid in the Prophet's Mosque in Medina
The red carpets on which worshippers prayed in the courtyard of the Prophet's Mosque in Medina have been changed to 12,000 new green carpets.

Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais, Director General of the Two Holy Mosques, presented new acrylic carpets.

Carpets are made in accordance with precise technical standards and taking into account the comfort of worshippers.

Each carpet has an electronic chip that is connected to a system containing information about its production, use, location and washing time.
