16th Muslim International Forum
10th December 2020, the XVI international Muslim forum "The culture of encounter: religious ethics during the pandemic”" will be held in the format of an online conference. The forum is dedicated to the 1150th anniversary of the great Muslim philosopher Abu Nasr al-Farabi. Developing the ideas of al-Farabi, the participants will discuss approaches to building harmonious societies and overcoming disunity and contradictions between peoples.

“Muslims, like representatives of other religions, are looking for their place in a changing world. Who can they work with and in what areas? What is the role of Muslims in changing this world - or does the postmodern world itself change the Islamic model of behavior, Islamic traditions and Islamic thought?
In the context of a conflict between some Muslims and representatives of Western States, what status should Islam receive in European countries? Should it play the role of one of the traditional religions for the entire continent, equal with other religions, or be tolerant on the terms of the host country? What role should European Muslims play in the inter-religious dialogue in the cultural and social spheres? What should be the position of believers of all religions regarding the policy of secularism? How should the theological Islamic thought and the Muslim Ummah respond in the face of modern challenges? " - participants of the XVI annual meeting of the Muslim International Forum formulate a range of discussions.
