A mosque in the Andalusian style was built in Dubai
The new mosque in Dubai, which will serve 1,600 worshippers, is designed to become the "heart and soul" of community.

The striking design of the mosque was designed in accordance with the Alhambra Palace and fortress in Granada, in Andalusia (region of Spain).

The mosque is surrounded by a garden, has a sloping roof, "Moorish" arches and a courtyard with a colonnade.

The interior is decorated with geometric motifs and engraved Arabic calligraphy under the dome with an Arabesque ornament.

The main hall offers views of both the mihrab and the minbar. The mosque's sound system matches those used in the Holy Mosques of Makkah and Madinah.

The opening event was attended by Mohammed Ibrahim Al-Shaybani, Chairman of the Dubai Islamic Bank, and Dr. Hamad Al-Sheikh Ahmed Al-Shaybani, Director General of the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities in Dubai, and other high-ranking officials.

It is worth noting that the mosque was built in the new Madinat Badr district. Responsible for the project of this residential complex and mosque is the Islamic Bank of Dubai.
