Christmas greetings to Christians on behalf of Damir Mukhetdinov
Executive Secretary of the Muslim International Forum, first Deputy Chairman of the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation, doctor of theology Damir Mukhetdinov sent congratulations to partners in interreligious dialogue among religious and public figures of Catholicism and Protestantism (Pentecostalism, Lutheranism and Adventism) on the occasion of the Christian holiday of Christmas:

Dear brothers and sisters in the Abrahamic tradition, celebrating the Christmas of Jesus on 25th December!

On behalf of the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation, the Secretariat of the Muslim International Forum and myself, I heartily congratulate each of you on the Christmas of Isa - the son of Maryam. Christmas appears to be the most important Christian holiday, inextricably associated with the two great personalities of sacred history, which are Jesus and the virgin Mary. Despite the doctrinal differences between Christians and Muslims, Jesus (Isa) and the virgin Mary (Maryam) are two particularly revered personalities not only in Christianity, but also in Islam, who are a great example of piety, piety and high spirituality. In our age, filled with various difficulties of life, the healing power of prayer to God and the relentless preaching of mercy, brotherhood and humility is the moral basis of the Christmas and the harmonious coexistence of a single and diverse humanity at the same time.
On this important holiday for Christians, please accept my sincere and good wishes for peace, bright joy and happiness. I prayerfully ask the Almighty to grant us all mutual understanding and his help in good actions!

With best regards and kind prayers,

Damir Mukhetdinov,

First Deputy Chairman of the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation,

Executive Secretary of the Muslim International Forum
