In Saudi Arabia, vaccination against coronavirus is in full progress. The authorities have already distributed more than 3 million doses of the vaccine across the country.

It is also planned to introduce mandatory vaccination for volunteers and Hajj service workers, as well as for all pilgrims.

This year, the great hajj to the holy shrines of Islam falls in the second half of July.

In this regard, let's get acquainted with the new requirements for the HAJJ 2021:

1) All pilgrims arriving from other countries shall be vaccinated with vaccines recognized by World Health Organisation;

2) The mandatory wearing of a mask for the entire period of your stay in Saudi Arabia;

3) Presentation of a negative result of a COVID-19 test performed 72 hours before entering Saudi Arabia;

4) Self-isolation for 3 days (72 hours) at the hotel after arrival in Saudi Arabia and passing a second test for COVID-19;

5) The age of pilgrims is limited (from 18 to 60 years);

6) The pilgrim should not be considered a risk group due to chronic diseases;

7) Visiting places that are not included in the main program of the Hajj is allowed only with the application " Tawakkalna»;

8) The movement of pilgrims is allowed according to the schedule in groups not exceeding 100 people, provided that a distance of 1.5 meters is observed.
