In the state Victoria (Australia) , which is one of the most developed regions of the country, there is a rather extensive Muslim community. It makes efforts to establish good-neighborly relations with representatives of different faiths living on the "green continent". As a result, local mosques organize an open day to show everyone how Muslims perform worship, introduce them to the traditions and answer questions. Visitors will be able to take a tour of the mosque. Guests can also enjoy a meal, and a special entertainment program is organized for children. "Open doors usually open minds and hearts," the event will be held under this motto.

This project, "Open Day in Mosques in Victoria", was launched in 2017 and has become an annual event that many residents are looking forward to. The Islamic Council of Victoria (ICV) helps organize an event across the state each year.
