Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gainutdin send congratulations on 50th National Day of Oman
Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin, chairman of the Russian Muftis Council and the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation, sent a letter of congratulation to Abdullah bin Mohammed al-Salimi, Minister of Religious Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman, on the occasion of the 50th National Day.
In his congratulation letter, Mufti Ravil Gaynutdin noted the high level of interaction and cooperation between the Muslims of Russia and Oman, which would not have been possible without an effective, balanced and wise policy of the country's leadership. Relations in the religious sphere are actively developing: the sides are constantly invited to participate in events held in Oman and Russia, and exchange high-level delegations.
The religious leader of Russian Muslims also noted that the Sultanate of Oman is distinguished by religious tolerance and peaceful coexistence of followers of different religions and madhabs. The success in maintaining peace and harmony within Omani society should certainly be credited to Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Saeed and his team.
At the end of the letter, Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin wished prosperity to the people of Oman and expressed the hope that Russian-Omani relations, including in the field of Islamic Affairs and education, will benefit the peoples of both countries.
