Religious leader of Russian Muslims, General Secretary of the Muslim International Forum Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin sent condolences to the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran Kazem Jalali in connection with the murder of the head of the center for research and innovation at the Ministry of defense of Iran Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, in which he condemned the terrorist act:

Dear Mr. Kazem Jalali,

On behalf of the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation, Russia mufties Council and myself, I Express my condolences to You and the entire Islamic Republic of Iran and its people on the death of one of the leading scientists of modern Iran, head of the center for research and innovation under the Ministry of defense of Iran Mohsen Fakhrizadeh.
I strongly condemn this terrorist act and express the hope that the perpetrators will be identified and brought to justice with the assistance of the entire international community.
Indeed, we all belong to Allah and to Him our return. Pray to the Creator for mercy to the soul of our murdered brother Mohsen Fakhrizade.
