Prayers were raised in mosques of Russia for the restoration of peace and order in Kazakhstan
On 7th of January, on the first Friday of the year 2022, during Friday prayers, the first Deputy chairman of the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation, Executive Secretary of the Muslim International Forum, Doctor of Theology Damir Mukhetdinov addressed the faithful gathered in the Moscow Cathedral Mosque.

Having conveyed greetings on behalf of the religious leader of Russian Muslims, General Secretary of the Muslim International Forum Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin, he congratulated all those gathered on the beginning of the year of the celebration of the 1100th anniversary of the official adoption of Islam by the peoples of Volga Bulgaria. D.Mukhetdinov's speech paid special attention to the situation in Kazakhstan.

The First Deputy Chairman of the RBM RF stressed that Muslims of the entire CIS area are a single body, and what is happening in Kazakhstan echoes with pain in the hearts of Russian Muslims. He called on all those gathered to pray for the restoration of justice, peace and order in the land of Kazakhstan, the cessation of bloodshed, lawlessness and unrest.

Prayers for unity, tranquility, and the rule of law in a fraternal country have been raised today by imam-khatibs, imam-muhtasibs, muftis in many mosques of the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation all over the country.
