The film "One Night in Al-Aqsa" will make a tour of eight cities in the UK
The impressive documentary "One Night in Al-Aqsa” will be released in the UK this month, and all proceeds will go to fund the Palestinian campaign of the international humanitarian charity Penny Appeal.

The premiere of the film will take place on 18th of February in London, and the tour includes viewings in Luton, Birmingham, Leicester, Bolton, Blackburn, Manchester and Bradford.

The film tells the story of the Al-Aqsa complex during the holiest night of the Islamic calendar, Laylat Al-Qadr (Night of Power), when, it is believed, the first verses of the Holy Quran were revealed to the Prophet Muhammad.

Al-Aqsa, which is located in occupied Jerusalem, is the third holiest site of Islam, and the film also tells why it is revered by Christians and Jews, as well as gives an idea of the Dome of the Rock and the Qibli Mosque.

The film also features other religious institutions with important structures in Jerusalem, including the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and the Wailing Wall.

It is worth noting once again that all funds from the tour will get to the PennyAppeal Palestinian campaign to provide medical care, food and other vital assistance to the Palestinian people.
