The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah will hold an event dedicated to the development of pilgrimage
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah will hold a two-day conference dedicated to the development of Hajj and Umrah services, entitled "Transformation towards Innovation", which will begin on 23rd of March in Jeddah.

The organizers said that the event, which will be held under the patronage of Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, advisor to the custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Governor of the Mecca region, will include sessions aimed at supporting the accelerating pace of development of technological applications and the creation of platforms and seminars to demonstrate innovations.

Hisham bin Abdulmoneim Saeed, Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah for Umrah Performers and Pilgrims, said that the conference is in line with the country's Vision 2030 development plan, in which the service of pilgrims is an important element, and reflects the Ministry's desire to improve the services provided to them.

The conference provides an effective platform for the most important decision makers, scientists and anyone interested in the Hajj and Umrah sector, he added.

According to Said, it offers investors attractive opportunities to establish strategic partnerships with stakeholders from the public, private and non-profit sectors, as well as join forces to support the accelerating pace of technology development and use their benefits for the benefit of pilgrims.

The conference will also highlight upcoming projects in the Kingdom related to Hajj and Umrah, which will help establish global and local partnerships to improve the services provided to pilgrims and develop advanced tools and methodologies to better meet their requires, he added. It aims to attract global investment and promote effective partnerships to improve quality and create a competitive environment in which global expertise can play a role in the development of Hajj and Umrah services.

It is expected that among the delegates of the conference will be representatives of government agencies, private business, Hajj and Umrah agencies, air and ground transport sectors, public transport, travel agencies, car and bus rental companies.
