The 10th Muslim International Forum, which took place in Moscow from 10 to 12 December 2014, marked a turning-point in several ways. A whole range of significant resolutions were passed which have had an effect on the Forum itself and the Islamic community of Russia, as well as influencing the development of the whole Ummah at the present moment. About 500 more participants in the Forum from 20 different countries, including Middle East, Turkic World, Europe, South East Asia, China and the CIS countries, supported Russian Muslims’ initiative to turn the Forum into an international organization. One of the most important intellectual tools of the new international Muslim organization, which should facilitate the search for solutions to the most pressing and topical problems of the Ummah, is the ‘Almanac of the MIF’. This periodical is being published in two languages (Russian and English), and the first issue contains the presentations of the participants of the 10th Muslim International Forum.
