On 16th of March, at the invitation of the Catholic side, First Deputy Chairman of the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation (RBM RF), Executive Secretary of the Muslim International Forum Damir Mukhetdinov met with Archbishop Paolo Pezzi, Chairman of the Conference of Catholic Bishops of Russia, Metropolitan of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of the Mother of God in Moscow.

On 15th of March, the list of nominees for the 2021 Academy Awards was announced. Among the candidates for the award for best actor, you can find Riz Ahmed ("Venom", " Rogue One: Star Wars. Stories"). The actor was awarded a prestigious nomination for his work on the film "The Sound of Metal". Ahmed became the first Muslim actor in the history of the award to compete for the prize in this category.

Saudi Arabia has resumed the sale of tickets for the high-speed rail service between Mecca and Medina, a key transport artery for Hajj and Umrah pilgrims. The high-speed train "Haramein" will resume operations from 31st of March 2021.

On 13th of March, the international conference "Dialogue of Cultures and Civilizations",which is held under the auspices of the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel-Fattah Al-Sisi, began in Cairo. The representative forum is organized by the Supreme Islamic Council under the Ministry of Waqfs of Egypt.
